Project Description

Exhibit Thyssenkrupp elevator system MULTI

The elevator system MULTI from Thyssenkrupp is an innovative technology designed to change the way we move through buildings. The MULTI is currently undergoing technical testing at the Thyssenkrupp test tower in Rottweil. At the same time, Thyssenkrupp commissioned the development of a lightweight cabin, which was designed to reflect the novelty of the overall system both in terms of booth design and construction. Over time, a broad consortium was formed for this purpose. With the developed technology demonstrator a view into the future is to be given. The central task was to convey the complexity and possibilities of the new elevator technology. With the software framework VVVVV, we developed an interactive operating concept. The direction of travel is visualised by a circular touch user-interface and computer-aided LED cabin lighting. In addition to the central task of showing the users the position of the elevator in the building, we can also use the display to show further information like the news and the weather.
